We opened the doors of Cardinal Acoustics in 2018, but our crew has been steeped in wood fiber wall and ceiling panels for more than 20 years. With your first call or email, you’ll get to know us pretty quick, but until then, please meet our team.

William J. Khourie

Executive Vice President

Billy keeps the company moving. Working with the leadership team, warehouse team, suppliers, architects, reps, and contractors, he keeps Cardinal’s operations aligned with its long-term vision. Whether he’s tackling a production challenge, reviewing a contract, or planning for what’s next, Billy works each day to make sure our panels meet our customers’ acoustical and design goals.

Favorite Project

“I’m especially proud of the work we did for a sports complex in Nebraska. The owner came to us looking for panels in the shapes of sports balls. We created the custom designs ourselves and I love how 3D they looked. Our customer was so pleased they bought an additional group of the same panels.”

Aaron Campbell

Director of Sales & Marketing

Aaron works closely with everyone on the team. He connects design intent, field conditions, and manufacturing realities to drive projects forward. Aaron embodies Cardinal’s promise to always get it right, so he sets clear expectations and resolves potential issues early to keep customers happy and partnerships strong.

Favorite Project

“The Carroll High School Band building was a really unique project—first just that the entire building is a dedicated space for the band to practice, and also for the way the detail and intricacy in our 1” + 1” Complete + Creative panels really highlight the space.”

Mark Straub

Director of Business Development

Mark works closely with Cardinal’s independent reps, architects, contractors, and distributors—often on the road. Beyond helping the construction community understand the quality, integrity, and reliability Cardinal stands for, Mark brings expertise shaped by decades in the wood fiber industry, and a straightforward approach to every relationship.

Favorite Project

“We don’t just stand behind our products 100%. We work in relationships, too, so our project with MSP Schools is particularly meaningful to me. The trust we built during that project has led to ongoing business, which makes that project even more special.”

Brian McCain

Chief Financial Officer

Brian handles day-to-day financial communications with customers and sales reps while also keeping the company’s long-term goals in sight. He makes sure the financial controls and reporting are in place to ensure stability and enable growth, both for Cardinal itself and for associates. Whether talking to customers, sales reps, or internal members of our team, Brian is always focused on how he can help.

Stephen McBride

Director of Operations

Steve stays close to the work, the people, and the processes that keep projects running at Cardinal. As a transplant from the field side of the industry, he knows how important it is that our products are made in a way that helps the installer, contractor, and customer have a smoother experience, which means making sure the finished product works the way it needs to when it reaches the jobsite.

Favorite Project

“I love projects where our preparation and organization make a real difference in the field, because they reflect what I care about most—building a quality product and delivering it in a way that makes the entire process easier for everyone involved.”

Zach Pillion

Shipping & Purchasing Manager

Zach makes sure the last step is done as well as the first. He manages everything that happens from the time our panels are finished and ready to leave our facility until they reach job sites across the country. He stays in close contact with reps, contractors, and customers so they know exactly where their materials are and when they’ll arrive.

Favorite Project

“I enjoy the high level of coordination required to keep a big project running smoothly, so one job that stands out is Westville Correctional Facility, which involved nearly a dozen full truckloads coordinated in close contact with the site team and freight brokers, to keep deliveries on schedule and the job moving.”

Alex Teetor

Inside Sales

Alex keeps orders on track. From quoting to fulfillment, he guides customers through the ordering process with care, accuracy, and timeliness. He understands customers well enough to see every situation through their eyes, which helps him anticipate challenges and focus on providing a good experience, from start to finish.

Favorite Project

“I grew up watching the Texas Longhorns, so our project providing Cardinal Lay-In Ceiling Panels for a new residence hall at The University of Texas at Austin was extra-special to me.”
